    Ransom has been terrible lately. I wonder if when Bogusevic is ready to come back they will consider dropping Ransom and letting Lake get the starts against LH at 3B instead.

    The Rays are very good at developing their pitchers so you could also make an argument that the Archer we see out there now is not necessarily the same guy he would be if he had stayed in the Cubs organization.

    According to Baseball Reference, Cano has a WAR of 4.9 and Gardner as a WAR of 3.5. The rest of the Yankees' entire offense has combined for a 1.2 WAR. Carlos Pena is available, Cashman better get on the phone to his agent asap.

    As long as Arismendy Alcantara doesn't regress, it's possible he could be playing 2B at this time next year. That's wonderful. In the mean time............ A platoon with Logan Watkins might be interesting if for no other reason than to see how useful Watkins might be for next year.
