    anyone know anything about why Demp only sometimes uses the glove waggle lately? ive noticed in both of his last 2 starts that he only sometimes uses it now as opposed to all the time previously

    as one who has to take a "break" from time to time, i say that it's not necessarily a bad thing. of course my "breaks" dont stem from being a know it all d'bag, but more from being a terrible(at times) drunk

    i think i'm gonna go play golf for the first time in years rather than watch this one. ETA: crap i just realized i dont have a putter(lost to drunken rampage on the 16th hole last time i played)

    i've decided to go watch more live baseball this summer as i've got 2 minor league teams within an hour and a half of me, coupled with the fact that it just isnt worth watching the cubs on tv(gotta stop paying for MLBei every year...) close by are the hickory(NC) crawdads(sally league) and the elizabethton(TN) twins(a rookie league, i think) what cubs prospects could/should i be looking for and what teams do they play on?

    i wish i had seen that, i had it set to dvr, but some sort of sporting event ran late that night and i ended up with a recording of 60 minutes instead

    these injuries are to be expected with an aging injury prone lineup like the Cubs have. i dont think that baseballs to the face really care if the person being hit is 20 or 40 What did I miss with Aramis? bad hop on a hot shot got him in the face...no word on his condition

    Gvilles hate for Dempster is far more bizarre and unwarranted. By far. which makes it very different than hatred for Hendry

    Not that I want to agree with BB but that throw to 3B which allowed the runner to advance to 2B was atrocious. This is one of the worst fundamental Cubs teams I can remember. Who managed these guys down in the minors anyway? Ryno
