    Shipman gets 3 up and 3 down yesterday for the save with 2 K's. Tonight he gets another save, giving up 1 hit.

    Brandon Sing might not be able to "steal a base", but Brandon can become the Jaxx single season HR leader and become only the third member of the Diamond Jaxx to hit .300 in a season. I see a lot of NSBB Correspondents on that list, this could get fun.

    Because it was Hill who let the ball drop in right or threw the ball to first when he should've gone to third or threw home when he should've gone to first :roll: I don't get this unwritten rule where it's against policy to criticize young players or your favorites. Lee is stinking right now, so is Walker. His miscues (at the plate and in the field) have been killing us over the last ten games. And, yes, they are two of my favorites. Rich Hill can't throw strikes, and when he does it costs him 100 pitches in five innings. It's not too hard calling out players when they aren't performing even if they are your favorites. Nothing wrong with that, just pointing out that it's not all on Hill why they were getting buried after 2.

    Speaking of Cedeno there was a great comment about him on the Jaxx guestbook. Apparently he was signing autographs one night and took a couple of jerseys from a fan to the clubhouse and had the entire team sign them!

    Andy, thank you for joining us here at NSBB. I really appreciate your outlook on life and the way that you conduct yourself as a player and as a person. I read a great interview with you last month on the Minor League Baseball website. In the article it said that you were upset for the first time after not getting drafted in the 2003 draft, despite the fact that you were projected to be selected in the early middle rounds. How did you use that as motivation and does not getting selected still motivate you today? Congratulations on a great season!
