    The tarp is brought out on the field. Ron says there's lightning as well and sent the broadcast back to the studio. I'm sure Renyel wouldn't mind of they decide to call it :wink:

    If Brandon gets the record setting #26 tonight that will be extremely impressive. Agreed. Ugh, Pinto gets in a bases loaded jam and the fly ball with 2 outs gets misplayed in the wind. 2-0 Braves.

    My alma mater is having a pregame reception before the game starts. I saw a press release for it that mentioned me throwing being in the booth and my wife throwing out the first pitch. No shout for NSBB...

    Thank you for taking time to answer our questions! Feel free to visit us at NSBB at any time! The Peoria Journal Star reported that "When the 1999 All-Star Game was at Fenway Park, Fuld and his buddies sneaked into a VIP area at a fan fest in order to obtain Garciaparra's autograph." When you had a chance to talk to Nomar on his rehab, did you talk to him about that autograph and did you make sure to get something else signed by him? What was it like to be in a game with him? That was a really great gesture to offer your jersey for him to wear! Keep up the great work!

    Is someone beginning to get nervous? :lol: Fortunately Ron will be the official broadcaster and I will be his sidekick. However, Ron says I'm doing an inning of PBP and that could be an adventure. I'm really looking forward to it, both from the perspective of being a big fan and from the perspective of getting to talk about NSBB. I've had the great honor of throwing out a first pitch at a Jaxx game and Friday will be something I'll never forget. Besides, Nathan's already told me what I need to know! No worries! Not yet, anyways!

    Failing to listen to that game should be grounds for automatic banning from NSBB. :D Now that I said that, watch me lose my Internet connection. I have some of the audio of the NSBB broadcast shouts that Ron has been giving. Jon posted one on his site but I have a few more. Ron has been giving so many shouts for the broadcast and the site (Thanks, Ron!) it's tough to keep up with them!

    Given your job I would expect that many days are not what would/could be defined as normal. For the benefit of those that may not understand all that is involved with being a broadcaster, would you go through your checklist of things to do on the day of a game? In addition to your broadcasting responsibilities, what are the other things that you are responsible for with the Chiefs?

    No, please don't do this. Join. Please don't rush him. How good is Greenburg? maybe he can handle CF for a year? His OBP is 1.000 for his career! Greenberg is scheduled to rejoin the Jaxx today I believe. He has apparently been ruled 100%, but shouldn't be surprised if he has dizzy spells.

    I really don't like the "bandwagon" (or BandWGN :wink: ) comments alluding that the site selects certain players to be ripped and makes some players untouchable. Where am I saying that Corey shouldn't be ripped? It's one thing to blame a player for struggling, it's another thing to blame Corey for a messed up squeeze play when Prior screwed up the signs. Again, people can point out all they want that a player is struggling. However, some of this stuff against Corey is really grasping at straws, and the squeeze play is one of them.

    It's not that people do not want to hear that he is playing bad, they want it to be a fair review. It's fair to say that he is struggling, but it's unfair to rip Corey for a botched squeeze attempt when it was Prior that messed up the sign.
