  10. On May 14th, with the help of Chicago Cub Derrek Lee and Cubs TV color analyst Bob Brenly, Fidelity will distribute 300 baseball gloves to children from the Hamlin Park Baseball Association prior to the Cubs game against the San Diego Padres. Fidelity will work with Cubs Care to distribute approximately 2,500 baseball gloves to children throughout the year. Fidelity has partnered with Cubs Care to support youth baseball programs throughout the season and help inspire the future. Fidelity will donate $25,000 to purchase baseball gloves for inner-city Chicago youth who participate in Cubs Care baseball leagues. In addition, throughout the season Fidelity will honor Chicago-area individuals with the 'Fidelity Investments Inspire the Future Award' who have passionately and selflessly dedicated themselves to the advancement of youth baseball programs. Cubs Care and Fidelity will celebrate their dedication to youth baseball at "Fidelity Investments Day at Wrigley Field" on August 2 by conducting an equipment drive at Wrigley Field to benefit inner city baseball programs.

  17. It's one thing to cheer for someone and it's another thing to pop into game threads and make a comment such as, "________________ got a hit and that doesn't matter".
  18. If you're looking for rah-rah cheerleader stuff on the wrong side of 9-2 deficit, you're looking in the wrong place. I'm seeing a pattern:
