    The WNWS online broadcasts have had lots of problems over the last couple of weeks and it's not getting any better. With that being said, it's time that folks that rely on the online broadcasts made it a point to contact WNWS and let them know that there are fans around the country that enjoy the Jaxx broadcasts.     I heard a rumor in the last 24 hours that either Felix Pie or Buck Coats would be joining the Cubs in Minnesota. Not going to name the source, but I was asked if I had heard the rumor. Buck Coats isn't on the 40-man, so that would only add to the confusion. Not sure why Matt would be sent down. I have full confidence on Von Joshua as an instructor. If the Cubs are sending Matt down to work with Von, the Cubs would be better off bringing Von to the Majors.

    Aww, I'm so jealous! You can be the man too. I took several pictures of Sean in his Jaxx uniform tonight. I'll try to post them soon. I'd like to add that I am very impressed with Jake Fox. He communicates very well with the pitchers when necessary.

    Eric has had a solid night tonight with some very impressive hitting. His RBI in the first was nothing short of a professional AB. Walker's triple in the first was hilarious. Nothing like watching a guy get to third standing before the other team gets the ball back to the infield. The Braves have had some troubles with the Jaxx this season. The Jaxx are 10-4 vs the Braves entering tonight. Since I know that Chris Walker checks out the site, I'll add that he is the man. That is all.

    I had the opportunity to congratulate Eric this afternoon and ask him a few questions about being selected. We'll get his Q & A posted ASAP!

    The Q & A sessions with Eric Patterson & Brandon Sing were completed this afternoon. They will be posted once we have a chance to get them typed out. Chris Walker has graciously agreed to do a Q & A session as well! Chris is a great young man and was a pleasure to get to visit with. A thread to submit questions to Chris will be up ASAP!

    For the record, Mateo didn't go any further because he was ejected after hitting a batter. Maybe I missed something, but it didn't seem like a situation where he was retaliating but then again, maybe I missed something. For the record, it looked like the umpire issued warnings after the ejection. Ron as the PA announcer was a blast. There's nothing like Matt Foley player introductions and Ron calling a hot dog race! :lol:

    The broadcast has been great, but I have noticed some connection glitches over the last week. I had to listen to the broadcasts of the Stars a few times last week. Hopefully they'll have the AC fixed by tomorrow!

    I figured that maybe your allegiance to DJaxx would remain, but then maybe and interest you have for the Cubs might wane if the D Jaxx became the minor league team of anothe MLB team. I'd still go, but of course it wouldn't be the same if the Jaxx were no longer the affilate of the Cubs. My wife and I have had some great memories at Pringles Park. We had dates at the park and went all the time when I got a job 15 minutes from the park. In addition, Pringles Park is a beautiful facility. I live the same distance from Pringles Park as I do the home park of the Nashville Sounds. Even if the Jaxx were not the affiliate of the Cubs, I'd rather go to Pringles Park. If another affiliate comes to Jackson I have no doubt that I will pull for guys once they make it to the show, but I won't be signing on for a new team. The other factor to consider at least in my case is in regards to the relationships I've built with the people in the Jaxx organization. They've been more than good to me over the years. In the event that the Jaxx changed affiliations I would like to think that I would continue trying to help the organization in any way possible.

    The online feed isn't working tonight. Ugh, and I wasn't able to make it to Jackson tonight. :x

    I don't believe that being a fan of a Minor League club automatically makes you a fan of the parent club. However, it is hard not to pull for guys that you see and get to know on the Minor League level when they make it to the Majors, regardless of the organization they came through. If the affiliation changes for the Diamond Jaxx I will still be a huge fan of the Jaxx regardless of the affiliation.

    Not sure I understand the doom and gloom on Prior. Mark wasn't 100% on his rehab assignments and many felt Mark needed at least one more start in AAA before going to the Majors. You can't give up on a guy based on a few rehab assignments and a start in the Majors where Mark wasn't 100%.

    i did! (j/k) viewtopic.php?t=32945 ha ha, good call. I probably should've added more to my original statement. At the time, I didn't see any mention of Reyes getting promoted to AAA. When I was asked earlier about the possibility of a Fox promotion to AA, I said it wouldn't happen with Reyes on the Jaxx roster. With that being said, I wouldn't have seen a Fox promotion coming with Reyes staying in West Tennessee.

    wow, crazy ending for the game. After the ejections I'm sure the fans were in a great mood. Oh well, congratulations to the Lookouts. The Jaxx will be there come the end of the season.
