  3. yikes.
  4. HA HA, I knew a writer wouldn't be able to resist this one. Here's the #2 storyline from a FOX Sports column:
  5. I'll watch what ESPN News shows, because it's the Bears, but media day is pretty worthless. It will be 1,000 people asking Rex why he sucks, and asking other Bears why Rex sucks. ESPN just had the most quality report on the SB EVAR tonight. They not only pointed out that the Colt defense has been good against the run in the playoffs, but that the Colts and Bears had the same PPG average in the regular season.
  6. Just wondering, what type of store did you see it in? I wouldn't mind picking one up. Wonder if my local Walgreen's might have one in the magazine section. It was in a sporting goods store at a mall. I figured that other stores would have one so I passed up on it. By the end of the day I simply didn't want to walk back to the other side of the mall for a copy. For the record, the store had banners, helmets, shirts and all kinds of good SUper Bowl items.
  7. wrigleyvillesport.com has them Thanks for the link. I just meant it in the sense that I could've had a copy to be reading tonight and through the week. Now if I decide to buy one it'll be a couple to few days.
  8. Had a chance to buy a Super Bowl pragram today while shopping. I didn't buy it but now wish I had. :x
  9. I plan on picking up a ticket stub from the Colts/Patriots game. Hopefully the Colts give me a reason to have another stub to purchase.
  10. Specifically I was referring to the coverage on the NFL Network. Sorry, I'm not a subscriber to SI.
  11. HA HA For the record, that article shouldn't be substituted for reputable sports services that are all saying it will be a great game.
  12. Personally I don't see any way you can determine the better RB duo. After all, a team could have more yards on the ground and still lose the game. A guy could break one off for 50 without a score and inflate the YPC while not opening up the passing game. Would he be a better RB because he had more yards.
  13. Probably so, but I've seen more than a few people use any information whatsoever in an attempt to make additional money on an item. For the record, I don't get my information on the Cubs from ebay.
  14. But wouldn't the fact that Indy has a better passing game open the possibility for the Colts to have a bigger running game in the SB?
  15. I don't know that I agree on that part. There are plenty of people investigating baseball cards for the profit of turning a buck that couldn't care less about said team or organization.
  16. Push. Yeah, I tend to agree. If someone has a edge here, it's probably pretty slight. I would have to agree-the RB's are dead even. Maybe I'm being a homer, but I think the Bears RBs are better...but thats not taking a lot away from the Colts RBs who I think are good. I think Jones and Addai are about a push, but I think Benson is better then Rhodes Everyone is certainly entitled to their opinion, but there's no way IMHO to definitively judge the RB duos of the game, especially since Addai was used progressively through the season. Both duos had a great regular season and have been solid in the postseason. As big of a fan of Addai as I am right now, I'd say the RB matchup is as even of any matchup in the SB.
  17. For the record, I haven't been hearing all of this "Bears can't beat the Colts" and "the Colts will win because Manning is better than Grossman". It's amazing to me that since the Colts beat the Patriots that people feel that Manning suddenly has no pressure on him. How does making it to the SB vindicate Peyton for the last 12-13 years of "He can't win the big one"?
  18. For the record, it wasn't Carrie.
  19. Totally agree. I recall a newspaper article in Jackson that had people complaining about the GM because he never keeps the good players like Prior, Garciaparra and Sosa.
  20. ha ha, great question.
  21. I'm quite upset. Earlier in the week they had the Titans/Rams Super Bowl listed as playing, but now they're showing this. It's a great game, but I was ready to watch the Titans/Rams. Oh well. I wonder why they're not showing it. 40+ minutes in TOP for the Giants. That's one way to keep the offense of your opponent off the field.
  22. I'm watching Super Bowl XXV between the Giants and Bills on NFL Network. I had totally forgot about the 9:00+ drive by the Giants to start the 3rd quarter.
