  1. Maybe this was mentioned before, but according to the NFL Network, Reggie Wayne said that Peyton's thumb is fine after practice today. There goes the experimental procedure.
  2. Experimental procedure. So new it's going to be named after Peyton. ^ kidding
  3. I heard from a friend of a friend that Peyton is having a procedure on his thumb and the earliest they could get it done is early Monday morning. Thus the delay.
  4. Both teams are under pressure to perform and they certainly do not need the media or anyone else to explain it to them. Regardless of what is or is not being said, both teams are under pressure at this point.
  5. What's mean about a discussion? If I was posting OML REX GROSSMAN WURST EVAR!*&!% maybe I'd see the point.
  6. Again, the argument is not the worst performance in the Super Bowl, it's the worst to make it to the Super Bowl. Looking at the stats (I know, regular season stats mean nothing now) the Bears had better get an early lead. Although Rex had a 102.9 rating with the lead, he had a rating of 49.6 when behind. For the record, he's pretty good with a 15+ point lead (rating of 93.6)
  7. For the record, I hardly think that a poll asking for the worst QB to ever make the Super Bowl proves a national media bias against the Bears.
  8. It's unbelievable... Look at the names on that list. It's ridiculous. Yet, some people would still have you think that there is no national media bias against the Bears. What a ridiculous poll. Grossman hasn't even played in the Super Bowl yet. Let's see how he does before we make him into the worst SB QB ever. The vote is for the worst QB to make it to the Super Bowl, not the one with the worst performance there. Do well in the Super Bowl, Bob Sanders.
  9. I can't decide if he wants to downplay the importance of it (Peyton has never wanted to talk about his injuries when he has had them, of course they've never been serious enough for him to miss a single game in his career) or just a little bit of gamesmanship. I think it's the former, but I can't be sure. I wasn't aware that Peyton told Sorgi to "be ready" until I watched the NFL Replay last night. Since he was able to continue in the AFC Championship, I don't think it's a big deal.
  10. Possibly a stupid question, but here goes anyways. The statement about commercials above got me to wondering about commercials. Will commercials be at intervals we are used to during the Super Bowl or will there be timed commercial breaks regardless of whether there is a change of possession/time out or not?
  11. Colts/Patriots on NFL Replay. Since I didn't get to see but the 4th quarter, this is fun to watch.
  12. Gotta make sure I get my "Go Colts!" in for the day.
  13. From the Cubs:
  14. What's up with the troll avatars?

  16. That explains much yeah guess the rule about personal attacks doesn't apply when bears fans make them I think you've made your fair share as well. It's time for everyone to chill out.
  17. "Manning can't win the big game" :wtg:
  18. Hell, we had two posters on this message board who said similar things, one of which said the EXACT same thing that poster said. That said, I certainly hope that posters like that weren't allowed into the stadium. And it was addressed and handled in that thread was it not?
  19. Also be careful blitzing Manning too much...he will make you pay. fixed
  20. Len, you are awesome.
