That really is something. Not really. Dodgers are 44-0 when they lead at the end of the 8th inning. Most every team has approximately the same record. Approximately, sure. But perfect futility all season, never once causing some team's closer to blow a save and lose? Do closers never blow saves anymore? Don't know how to look it up but wouldn't be surprised if CUBS were the only team with that distinction in the NL.
