I think most know the pitcher has to employ his strategy. It's an excuse to boo the opposing team, so they boo. I've got no problem with it I only boo when the pitcher is obviously stalling and throws over there 3 or 4 times before throwing the next pitch. Now if you want serious heartfelt booing... bring Hendry in to be the guest conductor.

That is not heartfelt booing, just light-hearted fun at the ballpark. Kinda like when opposing manager comes out to argue a call, or opposing team takes too much time blabbing on the mound. Not serious.

I don't know of any Carloses in the Cubs farm system, but there are enough pitching in the majors we could trade our non-Carlos pitchers to make an all-Carlos staff. Looks like the team would win about 40 games a year tho. Sabathia is not one, Pavano would have to change his name, and Villanueva and the rest would have to do better.
