  1. Where's A-Rod?!
  2. One thing that really ticks me off is another season opener in Cincinatti. As long as they win..
  3. But we have to get everyone who tops the FA list (including 3 pitchers) and A-Rod.
  4. It was pretty good, certainly good enough to still be sold. Why don't they sell it anymore? Sales were decreasing every year. I think I was responsible for 40% of the sales though. I barely drink pop now that it's not for sale. They have talked about bringing it back though. http://tinyurl.com/y5qadh
  5. About the payroll.. They said they wanted to spend $115 million... I believe we started out in the mid 80's. So far we've spent: 17 million on Soriano, 14.6 on Ramirez, 1.5 on Miller, 4.3 on the Mark of Rose.. $37.4 million. Around $125 mil. Anyone have exact calculations?
  6. Coke. BRING VANILLA BACK!
  7. http://www.fansedge.com/Images/Product/33-45/33-45128-F.jpg Cat.
  8. Nothing like a warm apple pie with a glass of milk during a baseball game. Win or lose, I love the experience.
  9. Now.. If we can only get A-Rod...
  10. - What are the chances he'll play 2B? Infield of Lee, Barrett, Soriano, Ramirez... - If outfield, shouldnt he play LF? Isnt that what he played in Washington? - Where does he rank in terms of $$$/year? Is it right behind A-Rod?
  11. I swear to god this poll is the same as another private forum. Not word for word, but still about cheese. It it some Cheese Day?
  12. Omar

    Apples

Any that are green or red and juicy.
  13. Likely said nothing new. Soriano, hopes will win next year, Jim Hendry working hard, Go Bears etc... I'm guessing.
  14. Neal Cotts is more proven, at least. Aardsma is young, and can still blossom into a reliable reliever. We'll just wait and see if this trade was worth it.
  15. I think Soto would do a better job at back-up, and would be cheaper.
  16. Don't forget 1989. Lets not forget, we got Williams and Aardsma in that trade. Worth it, I say.
  17. What are the chances Bynum will be on the 25-man?
  18. Definately Zito. He's proven and he's not injury prone. Schmidt is injury-prone. Matz is not proven.
  19. So after signing Ramirez, Wood, DeRosa, and Miller... what's left on the said "$115 million" payrol?
  20. Nice to see Manager of the Year's legacy live on..
  21. I think he'll accept it.. unless he gets a better offer.
  22. Anyone here also would never spend $50 million, just to bid on a player??
  23. There were at least 5 game threads longer than this, and I'm pretty sure there was a Juan Pierre thread longer, and the Aramis thread in Transactions now is longer. It's long, but it's not by any stretch near the top. There were some CRAZY long Maddux and Nomar threads. Longest non-Cub thread. BEARS WIN! BEARS WIN! BEARS WIN!
