  9. 2004. 5 shutout innings against the Cubs.
  10. Well, I expect someone to replace Lilly in 5 days.
  11. Pat and Ron are talking like Blanco missed the sign. For the entire at-bat? Like I said, Lou looked like he was pissed at Blanco afterward. Lou was. He was fired up barking at Blanco. Some sign was missed. And now the coaches are talking about it in the dugout.

  15. Ooo, I didn't even know there was a political debate on tonight. What channel? So I'll be flipping from the Cubs, the Bulls last game (yes I'm a glutton for punishment and fiercely loyal through thick and thin), and this debate. Fun night ahead! ABC. They're calling it "The Debate" so you know its special.
  16. Game is on at the same exact time of the Democrat Debate. Bleh.
  17. Heh, that was my immediate reaction to this. This was my thought too. I really doubt it matters much really. Sori will be back in 2 weeks and the club will continue to roll on the back of Lee. At least we can enjoy an much more balanced lineup while he is out Does anyone know what the Cubs record was with Soriano on the DL last year?

  20. Soriano's injury looked very similar to the one he had last year running to 3B. I'm guessing a 15-day DL trip.
  21. C'mon man, I agree people shouldn't be ripping him and he should be able to work through his struggles, but when you look as lost as he does right now, he's gonna take at least a little heat. No, Felix did not look good out there today. He was also playing his first full game since April 4th. Even the most irrational of "Felix Pie = Corey Patterson"s out there would agree that a guy needs more than 1 start every 10 games in order to be in any sort of groove. He had some RGIs.
