    It's just sad. Baker was brought here to help rid the Cubs of the stigma of failure - but because of him, the organization is as big a joke now as it's been at any point since the strike, IMHO. No matter how good this team gets, no matter how close we get to real, sustained success, Dusty will be there to somehow screw it all up.

    How many more tactical disasters will we have to sit through before the front office wakes up? Dusty is the worst manager I've endured in my 18 years of watching this team. We've had some horrible guys in charge over the years, but none of them made bizzare and stupid part of the routine the way Baker does.

    Except that Harang isn't a bad pitcher. His numbers were mostly better than Maddux going into tonight. Numbers largely built on several ridiculous outings against us.
