    Mostly agree. I'd like "very aggressive" in the zone, but the best version of PCA is one who gets on base 35% of the time.

    In his prime he had 98-100 MPH throw down to 2nd. Bench was a bit before my time, pudge was the best all around catcher I’ve ever seen.

    Hall is the top HS player in Alabama. He's a Tennessee commit. He's right in their mold of player. Around 6 feet tall, athletic, middle of the diamond. If he were a college kid, he'd check off all the boxes.

    I get the emotional reaction in-game. It's also important to look at the big picture. For the first time in almost 10 years, this Cubs team is a true contender.

    They are out of the grand canyon that is Tiger Stadium. I expect the offense will do more damage in this series. Two very similar teams in very different places on their competitive arcs. I expect the Cubs to win this series.

    The Cardinal played a video of Matt Adams hitting a HR off of Kershaw in the NLDS before his start against. them. Kershaw: "I think it's a little bush league, but I don't expect anything else from these guys." HOF comment right there.

    Tigers built the perfect team for that field. Wait until they get the rest of the pitching crew up, they are going to be a monster.

    Tough assignment. Brown pitched well. Mistakes have made the difference so far.

    The end wasn't a blast for me; it was psychosis inducing. I had to hide in my bedroom and have my wife give me updates because there was no way I could stand to watch them lose. I was still traumatized from 2003.

    I think the Bears have finally found their coach. I'm not sure if they've found their quarterback yet. Hopefully, Williams is open to learning to improve and doesn't think he's a finished product.
