    How horrible, I wonder if this is related in any way to CTU.

    The answer is zero. Zero chance. They'll never get rid of it, and I suspected as soon as they implemented it in the minors that they were probably going to shove it into MLB at some point. Frankly, I'm less than 50/50 that they'll even get rid of 7-inning doubleheaders now. Yes, it's quite a thing. And now they have the announcers praising the [expletive]. It reminds me of the sandlot baseball we use to play when I was a kid. So stupid. They have no clue how to fix things.
