    I just saw a post on Threads that noted if you wanted to watch every game of NFL football this year it will cost you an extra $135. If you pay for 6 months for all the platforms, it's an extra $600+. I'm not sure where this is going, but I can't see people shelling out thousands of dollars each year to watch sports. Maybe I'm wrong. I can do without football though.

    Arm strength is about the easiest "tool" to fix for a player. Look at Madrigal.

    I know people are generally down on Alonso, but the Cubs need SLG. I would not be against this if they can work out an extension. I'm not interested in an Alonso for the rest of the year trade.

    The WS are not in the lottery, but I agree with Goony. The point is not to make the team bad, but to make it better as fast as possible. Unless the Cubs go on an unexpected run of greatness to finish the season, I think the Ricketts are content to give Jed one more year to finish his contract. Next year he's going to need to pull a rabbit out of his hat to keep his job.
