his FIP is below 4 this year, he stays healthy, eats a lot of innings and gets a lot of ground balls. his babip against was around .290 in a dodger uniform; this year it's .331. he's been okay this year and he's been unlucky/victimized by bad defense.
and i laugh at anyone who thinks a quarterback with a 22:22 TD:INT ratio and no running ability is good. what suggests that he is a good player? leadership? intangibles?
because of one play? he led the league in interceptions last year and had the 21st qb rating out of 32 qualifying quarterbacks. people say he's not that good because he's not.
apparently kansas city is God-awful, seeing what the broncos are doing to the raiders. by the way, has anyone had an easier start to the season than denver? bengals, browns, raiders?
this week will be telling. we are better than illinois and should beat them, but if we lose this season could get pretty ugly (like 7-5 ugly or something).
Iowa at #6? Let's not get silly here.....you're going to lose 2 or 3 games this year. Really? Name them. either at wisconsin or at michigan st, and at ohio st.
i don't see why. penn st isn't good, michigan st is lousy, wisconsin is okay, etc. the only teams definitely better than michigan are ohio st and probably iowa.
