    Yeah I wish he could tell his Dad how expensive this Cup was. his dad would role over with the likes of Madden contract, he was such a tight wad Does anyone know how much profit the Hawks could make this year compared to the bad years? I always wondered why Bill Wirtz thought he could make more his way. I know that the tides were beginning to change after drafting Kane and Toews, but I doubt Wirtz would have gone the same direction as Rocky. Rocky really deserves a ton of credit. bill should get his name on the cup for dying.

    probably won an AHL championship with the philadelphia phantoms... usually they played at the spectrum (old flyers arena) but i'm guessing their playoff games they moved to the wachovia center.

    I can't even imagine watching this happen without the slim hope I have. Apparently Alden and the whole Mizzou trust have been extremely calm and haven't said a word to the media. I really hope they have an ace up their sleeve. I bet KU doesn't get screwed over terribly, there's too many schools in the already pliable Big East and ACC for them to be left out on the whole. agreed, if an ACC or big east team bolts for the big ten i could see them grabbing kansas. they'd be a good fit in a basketball-first conference. geographically it doesn't make sense, but kansas isn't really that much farther than marquette or depaul. kansas state and iowa state must really be worthless; those are the schools that nobody wants.

    i'm sure chicago fans would've given pronger (likely CS winner) and company a standing O if we'd won game seven in your barn.

    That was a pretty bad goal. No reason for that goal to go in. or the sharp goal, or the goal from behind the net in game five... he's just not very good. he had good players in front of him who covered up his mistakes, but at the end of the day he's not a starting goalie. ray emery was supposed to be that, and he actually is good, but he got hurt. bottom line, if we go into next year thinking we can win with bouch or leights in net, it's a huge mistake. i'm not even mad at leighton or disappointed in him. he is what he is. asking him to outplay goalies like halak, niemi, brodeur and rask is expecting too much. he isn't good and lousy goalies allow lousy goals. it would've been fun to see this series if we'd had an average goalie instead of a below average one, but i suppose if my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle.

    it's complete bullcrap. people just say that about backup catchers who can't hit because they assume there's some reason that they're on the team.

    no idea why we don't shoot high on niemi more... he's down on his hands and needs two seconds before the shot comes.

    well yeah but that's the fault of the senile manager. one would assume that he'd be traded to a team with competent leadership.

    2011 would be their first year, at least as far as football is concerned... not sure about other sports but i'd assume that they'd just do the 2010-11 academic year as part of the big xii and then make the move.

    oh man if the big ten had texas, aTm and notre dame that conference would be a complete cash cow. it would also be really hard to win the big ten in football.

    there probably are because he's a lot better than a black hole (which many utility middle infielders are) at shortstop, but it would help if he would stop playing like a complete turd.
