i don't think you'll need to bother with that. there's a place where we can view stats/points over the last 7 games, so once we get to wednesday or something, i should be able to look at that and it will only go back far enough to include the one start that lowe and lewis made. probably the fairest thing to do is just remove the starts that put you over 7, which would be the sunday starts by lowe and lewis. in the future, probably the best thing to do - if you go over in starts or if you have a starter that makes a relief appearance - is to report who the offending player is and how many points they scored, rather than just saying "please remove the points for ____." since cbs inexplicably doesn't have an easy way to go back and find out how many points a player scored for a given game.
wanted to get the league's feelings on this because shane's roster is illegal (he has an uninjured starter on his bench and isn't playing 3 outfielders), and he doesn't appear to be actively managing his team any more. 1. should we look for a replacement now? 2. do you know anyone who might be interested in joining? 3. if not, where should we search for a replacement?
here is a dumb question - how do i see how many points each of your pitchers piled up in those games? i can see how many points they had during the week, which doesn't do me much good since they each made two starts. and i can see how many points they got yesterday, which again doesn't do me any good since i want sunday's stats.
Do Japanese hitters just swing at complete garbage? Daisuke walked 2-2.5 guys per 9 innings in Japan and his BB rate doubled upon moving to MLB. Same thing is happening to Darvish. He's about to have as many walks as last year despite throwing 170 fewer innings.
yeah plus unless they inherited their place from great great grandparents, they knew that a ballpark was located in their neighborhood. Don't buy a condo near wrigley and then bitch that it's noisy after night games. If you don't want to deal with that, don't buy a place across from a 40,000 seat ballpark.
if shane wants out of the league, what are everyone's thoughts on looking for a replacement midseason? he still has dempster out injured, is only playing two outfielders this week and had a minor leaguer who was listed as "illegal" or something because he changed from first baseman to pitcher (i fixed that using commish powers). if he isn't going to actively manage his team, would it be more fair to have someone take over who will do so, and who might make some trades to improve his team's outlook for future years?
oh i don't disagree that we were up [expletive] creek without a paddle with our top 3 catchers all out injured, but couldn't it have been someone other than koyie hill? the guy just [expletive] sucks, and what's worse is that we have had to watch him [expletive] suck for our team for 5 years. i would have preferred pretty much any bad AAA catcher over koyie hill. at least then we'd be watching someone different strike out or hit a dribbler to the second baseman.
i didn't realize this happened until i checked the cubs' box score from today's game and saw k. hill in the lineup. then i started hoping that there was a ken or kevin or kieran hill who i just hadn't heard about before.
based on what??? 22 is much younger than average for AA players. 22 is probably pretty close to the average for High A players. he's younger than 60% of the players on the daytona cubs' roster.
