  1. IMO, not this high. Coming off injury, and his ceiling before, when wasn't huge either (mid-rotation at best, or late inning arm). I think he probably deserves to be listed as we get closer to the back end of the top 10, and my initial thought is that he's probably more a 15-25 guy in the system. i also think rondon really needs development time given the time he's missed the past two years with injury, and pitching sparingly this year at a level he's not qualified to pitch at is just going to hurt him further.
  2. well i would list almora first, so i guess i should vote for him here.
  3. why would you bitch at him for that? it's hilarious.
  4. 1. I don't pay enough attention to know who anyone's teams are outside of a few people. The ND/Big 10 lovers are all jumbled together in my mind since there are so many of you here. I do know that SSR has a huge hard on for me, for some unknown reason. 2. Plays with integrity? WTF does that even mean? The Heisman "annually recognizes the outstanding college football player whose performance best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity." Straight from the horse's mouth. If you don't like it, take it up with them. Lol, this may be the first time that anybody has actually cared about the playing with integrity clause in the Heisman mission statement. Within the last 10 years, the Heisman has been won by Cam Newton, Troy Smith and Reggie Bush.
  5. you'd have to pay someone a lot of money to take out all of ND's starting 22, and probably another 5-10 of their backups, for that to happen. I dunno, Wisconsin is probably better than Pitt.
  6. popovich is awesome and definitely has the right idea by thinking big picture with a veteran team. he should kindly invite stern to go [expletive] himself.
  7. it's starting to look pretty pessimistic for the eagles' super bowl hopes.
  8. it also gets old listening to people from new jersey crow about the fighting irish or the cowboys. Usually when people post things on Facebook I don't want to read, I unsubscribe from their feeds. is there a way to unsubscribe from just notre dame posts?
  9. it also gets old listening to people from new jersey crow about the fighting irish or the cowboys.
  10. By this standard, A) no one is allowed to become a college sports fan until age 18, or B) everyone who picks a team must go to that college regardless of academics, finances or majors or their fandom is invalid. Please kill this stupid topic of whining and bitching forever. i'm not saying that nobody should root for notre dame, but generally people root for a college team because they attended that school, their parents attended it, or they grew up near it. nobody from arizona or nevada is becoming a rutgers fan just for the hell of it. yet i have loads of friends from south jersey who went to college somewhere in the east, then settled back in the philly area, and they're notre dame fans. though it is fun to see how easy it is to rile up you and GR even on a night when your team made the national championship game.
  11. my facebook feed is littered with notre dame fans celebrating. number of them who went to notre dame: zero. don't get it.
  12. http://replygif.net/i/738
  13. a baseball game doesn't last five [expletive] days.
  14. hahaha the jets [expletive] suck.
  15. isn't bob stoops always rumored for every high-profile job that opens up, mostly because everyone wants him to coach their team? i can't imagine why he'd leave oklahoma, where he gets all kinds of recruits and can pretty much name his salary, for a program that he has no connection to and has been thoroughly mediocre for the past 5 years.
  16. gary matthews and hollandsworth? why???
  17. the phillies have won a game more recently than the eagles.
  18. i don't even know what point you're trying to make here. maybe kansas state had just played like a great team for the first 10 games or whatever, and then didn't play like a great team (or they were just a fluke) in the game against baylor. was kansas state overrated by the computers? i dunno, maybe, but they're [expletive] computers, they don't have a bias against notre dame.
  19. i dunno, it will still be fun watching notre dame lose.
  20. i hope they consider rutgers women's basketball before signing on the dotted line.
  21. also bad: michael vick.
  22. Pretty good imo
  23. fun fact, in British English fanny is a word for vagina, so they definitely do not use the term fanny pack.
