what's funny is that our bullpen is statistically better than more than 2/3 of baseball, but they're 0-7. It's like they pitch great when up by 6 or down by 1 or 2, but when they're up by a run or tied, bombs away for the other guys! This year's team certainly has embraced the idea of "finding a way to lose" -- which is something that any true Cubs ballclub should be able to do.
Yeah, we're still waiting on first hand proof of this. only the cubs could sign a guy with 35+ HRs in 4 of the past 5 seasons and have him completely forget how to hit for power. I love it.
That, or our offense just sucks. Don't worry guys, I'm sure the Cubs will come out and put up a 10-2 shellacking on the Pirates tomorrow, and then lose 3-2 in extra innings on Wednesday.
that has to be it for him... 7 IP, 6 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 6 K, 1 HBP another very solid outing... what's better, he didn't seem to have his best stuff, especially early.
haha now it says duke is pitching to ramirez, and the first pitch was an intentional ball (yeah of course, pitchers always throw the ball in the dirt on purpose)
virus? Your internet connection might be really slow, and therefore only the sites which you have recent cookies for are getting information to you fast enough. Just a wild guess though, I'm no expert. no, i have a good connection... or at least i'm supposed to (cable). I'm tempted to reconnect the modem, but since I'm listening to the game online I don't want to lose it.
what the hell is going on... this site and every site i've used in the last 2 hours is working, but ones i haven't visited are "taking too long to respond"
