About the same time they can't afford them? The DRays are going to turn into this decade's Expos...loaded with talented players and too poor to keep them. or in the case of grady sizemore, cliff lee and brandon phillips, trade them away because you think your team isn't going to exist next year

I think his health problems were due to (a) terrible mechanics and (b) overuse. Lack of fitness was not a factor, IMO.

We did get a couple of mentions... and to nobody's surprise, Evan Longoria was first. Doesn't Tampa Bay have to put a decent team on the field one of these years? Their system is too loaded not to. Soto is 2nd in the PCL in BA, OBP and SLG, and he's first in OPS. And he's a catcher. Too bad we're so loaded at that position. -
judging by the quality of our minor league system, it's rather apparent that nobody's enhancing their performance.

no way... '03 and '04 were better, but the '00, '02, '06 teams were complete trash ('06 probably was the worst) and the '01 team was sammy sosa and a bunch of other guys. EDIT - '05 team was just mediocre, not complete trash.

when it went to 0-2 i honestly was hoping for a strikeout. I figured the only other option was a roller to third or short that ends up in a DP

double/wild pitch. fastball that flew right over the catcher. came off the bricks hard but rolled under ruiz when he tried to grab it. Murton would've either had to go back to second or possibly would've ended up in a rundown
