actually he is, he's just been unlucky with balls in play and hasn't helped himself with his fielding. i wasn't being sarcastic. he has had some of the nastiest breaking stuff i've ever seen him throw. fastball has also looked good. The Brewers have a .400 BABIP for the game, and have gotten a couple of really lucky hits at the right time. exactly. i know game threads are emotional, but this one has been nuts. and what's funny is that he was one really lucky hit from giving up 1 ER in 5 IP. So 3 ER in 5 IP is garbage, but 1 ER in 5 IP is really good, so that one seeing-eye blooper determined that Hill's outing tonight was garbage rather than really good. One lucky hit or one terrible 0-2 pitch that hit Weeks. Depends on how you look at it. even if it's just a regular inside pitch, there's no guarantee that weeks doesn't get a hit there. Kendall wanted the pitch inside; Hill missed his spot by a foot and ended up hitting Weeks. All in all he's done a really good job of putting his pitches where he wanted them tonight; that's about all you can do.
