Ryan Dempster played nine of his 16 big-league seasons with the Chicago Cubs. In Dempster's first few seasons, he served as the Cubs' closer before moving to the rotation, and ranks as the only Cubs pitcher in history to have more than 50 saves & 50 wins. After retirement, he remains heavily involved with the Cubs organization.
