This season never happens this way if the CBA expires after 2022 instead of 2021.

 

How so? I’m not saying your wrong just trying to understand the logic

 

Feels like ownership cut large contracts to avoid paying them during next year’s lockout. Last thing they wanted was to go into buying mode with two months until that sweet salary relief.
