Stickies explaining sabermetric stuff?

Pretty self explanatory.

 

Maybe this has been done. I feel like it may have been broached but for a site with as many sabr-smart members as we have, we don't seem to discuss the topic itself that much except within certain discussions/arguments. (i.e. I learned a lot about the $ value of WAR in the Pujols/Fielder discussions this offseason). Would be cool to have maybe some FAQ's or just an area to discuss the stuff on its own.

 

It actually occurred to me because I was looking for somewhere to ask when/how the fielding WAR numbers (specifically, Fangraphs) began to be calculated/posted.

I've been wanting to get someone to write some front page articles on that for a while. But it might be worth having a dedicated forum to sabermetrics instead of cramming it into the baseball discussions.
