i was all for benching them when the deficit was back to 17, but when they cut it to 9 with 4 minutes left you have to bring the starters back in.

I'm over it honestly. It was awkward when they started chanting but that lineup sort of brought the Bulls back into the game. Thibs really wants to save some juice for Boston I guess.

I'm sorry but when the deficit is single digits with 4+ minutes left, you gotta put your only good players back on the court. At that point, what is 4 more minutes of game time? Is that really going te make a difference in their play tomorrow? It's 4 minutes of running aorund.

 

We're probably going to get blown out by Boston anyways. We need Boozer in a bad way

4 minutes of max effort to get yourself back in a game could make a difference on a back to back, especially when you've already killed yourself to make a run in the 3rd quarter but didn't cut it into enough because of fluke shooting by the other team.

 

Seriously, that team gassed itself to play as well as it did in the 3rd but couldn't get it into single digits because of NY's Houdini shooting exhibition.

Maybe Tom knew that this was New York's shooting night so why bother putting the starters in. It was just too easy for them tonight. But the Bulls are going to get blown out tomorrow so the starters will have plenty of time to rest up in the fourth. Rose and Noah should have been in.
