Pitcher Selected by Boston Red Sox in 1st Round (47th overall) of 2005 amateur entry draft (June-Reg) .

 

He was a friend of mine in Aurora/Naperville when I was at Waubonsie Valley High School. I just looked him up and he is in AA Portland already in the Redsox organization. Glad to see him doing well, I hit a homerun off of him in softball when we were Juniors during P.E. class. (16" softball of course but who cares).

 

Anyone else been following him?

A+ He was 2-0 1.37 ERA 0.93 WHIP

AA He was 6-4 4.79 ERA 1.57 WHIP

 

Not bad for it being his second full season and already being in AA even after being side-lined with an injury.

He profiles as a middle of the rotation, innings-eater type starter. Definitely a highly regarded prospect
