What's the deal with Wood?

We all know what's going on with Prior, but what's going on with Woody? Late spring he was still pitching in the cactus league games, but then there was the whole fuss about whether he could pitch back to back days and that he wouldn't make the team until he could.

 

That's the last I remember hearing. Anyone know what he's doing? Is he even pitching? Is he hurt?

Pitcher Kerry Wood, on the disabled list with shoulder tendinitis, is expected to start playing catch this week for the first time since being shut down and visiting a specialist two weeks ago.

Ah, thanks. Shows how much I know. I actually sort of remember hearing that, now. I guess I was in denial about it.
