I just looked at that deal again...are they REALLY paying Wells almost $25mm a year the last 3 years of that deal?

I didn't go (obviously), but my understanding was that for the game itself, no tickets were actually made available to the public. STHs snapped them up and MLB distributed the rest. EDIT: And this is great. I've only seen the new K from the highway, but it looks great on TV. I'm pretty sure Season ticket holders were given first shot at their seats...then there was a ton of allotment to MLB...and the remaining 2000 or so were done by lotto.

I'm scared the next 4 days could be long ones for me here in STL...I've got very little confidence in the team right now... I have HR derby tickets in the LF bleachers for Monday...that may be the best thing baseball wise that happens in the next few weeks

Not defending him....but I just realized Fuku still has a .377 OBP...best currently on our team and would lead the Cardinals but for Pujols....that really surprised me.

Likely by a Cardinal fan...just about every time relevant Cub that a non-Chicago fan could name is on the list and the only Cardinal I saw was Ryan Franklin...and he wasn't with them at the time...

Heck...I wouldn't mind seeing Soriano go to the DL and Fox play left right now...maybe 2 weeks on the DL would let him heal, or maybe he could learn to hit again.
