    I heard that on KFNS this morning as well...what's the prognosis as far as time out...obviously won't know for sure until the MRI but if he's out an extended period and they have to keep resting Edmonds and Sanders as they usually do there will be a lot of games where its So Taguchi, John Mabry and Abraham Nunez making up the outfield...We've got a ton of work to do...but I'd sure like to see Hendry make a move to improve our team because I think the division could still be in play.

    I saw that exhibit a couple of years ago when it was at the Field Museum in Chicago. It's definitely worth seeing.I saw it last month here in STL....great stuff. Very interesting. Its scary to see some of the stuff Aaron and Robinson went through.......its scarier to hear that some of it still goes on today...(see Latroy)

    Macias is originally on the list as 1.2 mil for next year....Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think he's under contract, so why would we voluntarly sign him for 1.2 mill when the Cubs could get my 7 year old nephew(for a set of baseball cards and a season's supply of soda and cotton candy) to match his production? Now Neifi on the other hand...I know he's been given all kinds of grief on this board at different times...but he's really been a life saver this year.

    Heck...at this rate it might be worth a decent prospect to get him back. I can think of at least one team on the North Side of Chicago that could use a long relief guy with an ERA in the 2s...

    I guess I can live with that. Wait...if we win 131...I'd still get a playoff game(that is, unless we sweep those too right?)

    I'm GAME..."not that there's anything wrong with that"...Sign me up...I want to start one of these bad boys....looks like I may get the first game of the playoffs if we go on any kind of winning streaks this year... Will there be notification for those On deck and In the hole...or at least somewhere where we can go look and see that we're within a couple of weeks of being up?
