  1. At this point in the game, this offense has given me no hint that they can win this. Can they? Of course, but I don't have a lot of confidence right now. We are talking about the same team that was no hit into the 6th inning of game 1 and no hit into the 7th of game 3 and won both games right? ...and that is our hope...
  2. It gets lost in the shuffle that this horsefeathers isn't actually supposed to be easy all the time. At this point in the game, this offense has given me no hint that they can win this. Can they? Of course, but I don't have a lot of confidence right now.
  3. Horsefeathers! Horsefeathers! This is one damn frustrating baseball game. No fun.
  4. Let's hope they do more than the same thing over and over and over and over and over....
  5. I wish we could switch Baez and Russell. I"d like to see Javy at SS permanently.
  6. That AB didn't bother me, tbh. Bad result, but not a bad AB. It wasn't the worst for sure, but it just seems lately he's swinging at everything. With a little bit of patience, he would be a beast at the plate.
  7. I've been watching MLB's 40 greatest World Series moments. Certainly the Cubs-Indians game 7 will make that list -- and it will be very high on it. I would title it "The Imperfect Thriller."
  8. ? http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/17973532/chicago-cubs-catcher-miguel-montero-critical-manager-joe-maddon-role-team-postseason Honestly, I'm not happy with Madden either. Games 6 & 7 reminded me very much of Dusty Baker. Dusty Baker couldn't manage a pitching staff at all. Madden was nowhere near Dusty's incompetence, but those last few games made me wonder what the hell was going through his mind. I know he probably won't admit that he screwed up publicly, but I do think he needs to talk to both Lester and Hendricks, for not having confidence in them, and even Chapman for setting him up to possibly fail. Thank god Chapman willed himself into the 9th to prove he could do it. And if what Miggy says is true, Joe needs to talk to him too, though I'm not sure it'll help the hurt.
