  1. Stop with this **** already. With no offense we were bound to lose anyway. Lou isn't putting the team in the best spot to win, the offense isn't the only part of the team that didn't show up. I don't blame Lou one bit for this pathetic display of ineptitude.
  2. This is truly a boo-able performance. I seriously hope the crowd boo's this performance before the game's end. Send a frickin' message to new ownership that we've had enough of sending crap onto the diamond.
  3. Well, it's sadly obvious that we have made no freakin' adjustments from the first 2 games.
  4. Better than watching this clown of a baseball team over and over.
  5. Yeah, Dick, gotta love scrappy and gritty.
  6. The D-Backs look so much freakin' better than the Cubs. A shutout is not out of the realm of possibilities
  7. It's time to get Hill out of there. NOW!!!!!!!
  8. Alright, boys and girls...Rich is about to give a clinic on how to bunt.
  9. Dick Stockton: "We'll see if the Cubs can take advantage of this break." Answer: "NO"
  10. Game 4? Game 4?? Don't talk to me about game 4?
  11. 2 runs won't win this game..... 8 will. 8-0 D-Backs.
  12. ...will be the best choice to come back from being down 0-2. John Kruk says its the Phillies. Personally, I think that's ridiculous for 2 reasons. 1) The Rockies are the hottest team in baseball. 2) The Phillies lost 2 at home and now have to win two on the road. That's a tall order for any team. I think the Yankees are toast...they just don't have the pitching. And the Red Sox are clearly the better team. So I actually think the Cubs have the best chance because I still believe the Cubs are considerable better than the D-Backs. I think we win both games at Wrigley at least to give us a fighting chance against Webb on Tuesday. What do you think?
  13. Keep in mind that Soto is hitting .166 and I don't think he's thrown anybody out yet in this series. Ok, he did hit a home run, but I wouldn't say he's exactly tearin' it up. Ok, he has shown more plate discipline, but it's not like he's 4 for 8. I don't think a Kendall or a Soto will be the factor in winning. It's the big 3. If they don't come through, we ain't goin' on.
  14. I probably shouldn't post this before the series ends, but what the hay.
  15. hoenstly, my worse case scenerio would be my best case scenerio at this point, and it would be winning this series, going down 3-0 in the NLCS, winning that series, going down 3-0 and winning the WS. i think my heart would explode. Now that would be the greatest world series run in baseball history, and you, my friend, are living in disneyland.
  16. I agree. I'll be rooting for them on Saturday (while holding my breath).
  17. Yeah, that's what makes this so hard. This is a veteran team that looks like little leaguers outmatched by a better little league club.
