The year WWII ended. OU didn't start getting good at football until at least 2 years later. Starting there also makes Notre Dame look like Colorado.

Before the Big XII Oklahoma and Texas were in different conferences. It can still work.

I don't really care if Texas comes with OU or not. I think OU can get more TV money elsewhere even if someone gives OU a larger chunk of a TV deal that involved the Dead 12.

OU is up 8-0 bot 6. It's almost safe to say the Sooners will get the last spot. -
yeah but it's not like they're getting all this extra money because CU and NU left... they're getting it because fox is desperate and apparently doesn't care if they lose many millions a year as long as they can put some college football on the air for a few months. Yea, the math REALLY doesn't add up here.

I'd take Utah or Boise State over Air Force. BYU is fine though.

Sorry to break it to you, but they'll be more than doubling what they got with CU and NU around with the new deal. The conference schedule for the North based teams just got much tougher with NU and CU leaving. Without those TV sets, how do they get the money? You really underestimate what Nebraska meant to the Big XII.

In this, basketball means ZERO. Football means everything. OU and Texas will keep dominating this conference, but won't get the same money they got with NU and CU around. OU really needs to look out for itself and leave.

I'm still hoping that offers from the Pac-10 and SEC are still on the table for OU and that the Sooners take one of them. I want no part of the Big XII anymore and I want the $$$$$ that come with being in either of those conferences. Nebraska leaving made Big XII football so much less recognizable.

Carra was incredibly lucky not to be sent off. He committed three cardable offenses in 45 minutes. He was lucky not to break someones leg today. Not sure why he is even starting for England. Shows how much they lack at the back right now. Carragher was a halftime sub.

I'd rather watch grass grow than watch that Uruguay/France game again. It's pretty clear to me why no one likes Raymond Domenech.

This thread isn't necessary. Discussion of a WC thread came awhile back in the soccer thread and it was determined that it all both World Cup and league soccer offseason discussion weren't impeding on each other.
