    Have they played that Century 21 commercial during EVERY break? I haven't been watching the HR Derby the whole time, but literally every time they've went to commercial, I've seen that stupid Century 21 ad. Abreu is amazing.

    Clemens: 7 W Carpenter: 13 W Clemens has fewer losses though, so he should start. Seriously, you really need to set your homerism aside for a second here. Clemens is clearly the better pitcher this year. I don't know if any non-Cardinal fan would argue that.

    This is the NL All Star team, not the Cardinals All Star team. Bottom line is that the best pitcher this year should be starting... and that's not Carpenter. In your opinion. If the situation was Dusty managing, and Prior had the same stat line as Carpenter, what would you want him to do? The Chicago media, this board, and most importantly his players would be furious. Does Clemens have great #s? Yes. But he's only won 7 games. He got shelled in last years ASG, and Carpenter has been the best pitcher in baseball the last month and a half. Well sure I'd want Prior to start the All Star game. I don't blame you for wanting Carp to start, but I don't see how you can expect him to start, other than you being a Cards fan. And you're right, Carp has been amazing the last month and a half... but he was nothing but average prior to that. Clemens, on the other hand, has been consistently amazing all year.
