Although you'd expect his numbers at age 33 to be somewhat below his career numbers, especially considering that he is a catcher. Hopefully he continues to be a second half player and puts up decent numbers for the Cubs. I was one who thought that his numbers as a Cub would be much closer to his career line than his line in the AL, but I can't say I thought they'd be this good. Agreed, when I defended the move a couple weeks ago I thought he had the chance to be adequate....right now he's pretty good. Good deal. Let's hope he can continue that through August and September, and hopefully into the playoffs.
