  1. Huge game for both teams. I still think KU will win, despite the fact you guys put Texas in a clownsuit. It's gonna come down to our O-Line, Reesing's poise, and the ability to pressure freeman. I think K-State wins for the following reasons, 1. Home Field Advantage - Kansas State. No Mark Mangino's coached team has faired well on Big XII conference play, especially when it comes to the road. KU is 2-18 in Big XII road games under Mangino, and never fared better than 3-5 in conference play. Some of KU's manageable conference games: Texas A&M, OSU, Kansas State, and Colorado are on the road. 2. I think K-State is more prepared than Kansas is, considering if you look at their opponents. K-State faced two quality teams at the road in Auburn and Texas. Auburn isn't good, I'll admit that, but they did beat Florida at their house. KU however, has scheduled schools who I think aren't quality teams, even though I hear that Toledo lost to Miami by 14 and all that. Get real, Miami isn't worth a darn this year. And finally, Kansas haven't converted an extra point in Manhattan since 1997. What makes you think they will win in Manhattan?
  2. KU v. KSU is on 11a.m on Fox Sports Midwest IIRC.
  3. Usually they do.
  4. Man, K-State so owns Texas. :D
  5. one of the worst calls i've ever seen.... hopefully we can get a screenshot or video of it. Even the ESPN guys said it was ridiculous. what happened? just a grounder to the padres' 3B, who threw across to 1B. Froemming called the runner safe and it really was not a bang bang play at all.... the runner was out by at least half a step and he completely blew the call. If you see it, you'll understand how bad a call it was. I guess Philly fans had a sudden flashback to 1977 when Froemming made almost the exact call like that. Runner was clearly out, yet he called him safe.
  6. Mets are now a game behind the Phillies. This reminds me of the Giants/Braves matchup in 1993 where the Giants had a big lead, and choked it away.
  7. And you've got your computer next to you posting this? Care to do some play-by-play analysis? Harry Doyle: "And there's a basehit as AllStarMe has a runner on first. Now the situation is that is he gonna steal towards second? Here's the set-up. Here's the pitch! He's goin for 2nd! Here's the throw! He's out! Personally, I think he got hosed on that call!" :D
  8. Funny that there is a ex-Cub factor... Maddux pitching aganist the Brewers...
  9. Same douche who posted all the other gems quoted from over there. Bitter beer face at its worst. Yeah. Somebody should tell that douche that they had their chances of winning it when the Cobs lost it all aganist the Marlins, where they lost 1 game to St. Louis and the Padres. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v39/SwedeCarlson/Smilies/douche.gif
  10. Jesus, WGN showing the team spraying champagne on a minor. That could be big big trouble.... heh.
  11. Eyre looks like he got alot of beer/wine in his eyes.
  12. That dude is gonna get in the middle of the mosh pit on WGN. Heh.
  13. FATALITY!!!! CUBS WIN THE DIVISION! CUBS WIN THE DIVISION! CUBS WIN THE DIVISION!
  14. 4-3, Padres leading in the top of the sixth, runner is on 2nd with 1 out.

  16. I wish there was a way to contact MLB about that the playoffs does NOT need Froemming and his sorry crew. I spoke too soon... The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball Allan H. (Bud) Selig, Commissioner 245 Park Avenue, 31st Floor New York, NY 10167 Phone: (212) 931-7800
  17. I wish there was a way to contact MLB about that the playoffs does NOT need Froemming and his sorry crew.
  18. No, they still need to resod it. There will be playoff games at Wrigley because the Brewers are escorting the Cubs to the playoffs through the back door. Appears to be that way, but it's like nobody wants to go to the playoffs, especially the way they been playing thus far. It's like" Cubs: We're just gonna tank the season, so you can have the playoffs Brewers. Brewers: You kiddin me? We're tankin as well. Take it instead! Cubs: No! You take it! Brewers: No! You take it!
  19. Well, either way, credit the Cubs on this' week performance, and that performance could be a finalist in the Trojan-Enz Boner of the Week Award.
