    Trey Hillman will be what ultimately costs Moore his job. Along with signing Jacobs, who have been just terrible. It's just frusterating to see a GM who highly speaks of OBP, yet goes get players that does not fit into the OBP mold that he is wanting to do.

    Since we're talking about pitchers (somewhat), I would imagine that the pitcher's mound was a little bit higher during Walter's time, than it is today?

    Yeah, he's been struggling, but it doesn't help him when his bullpen is letting him down very often. Shame. The Royal pen was actually a strength from last year's season, and now, it's just a mess. Of course, it's also not helping him that the Royal offense is just atrocious, and on top of that, it doesn't really help him that the Royals got possibly one of the dumbest manager in MLB.

    7.0 IP 9 H 1 R 1 ER 3 BB 7 K ND. Royals bullpen (and manager at that) blew it in the 8th inning. It's a shame.

    I'm just suprised that it took the Royals this long to do this.....

    Actually he just is strange. He is far from arrogant. He has anxiety issues. He used to go up to people in the mall and ask if they would be his friend and try to swap phone numbers with him. That is a fact. By no means, he's a douche. He's just wired in a different way. But I couldn't care less what he wants to talk about or if he wants to find phone numbers, as long as he pitches like he is capable of. If you listen to him in person, you can understand that he's just wired differently, but at the same time, it's really funny. I feel bad for the guy, he was signing autographs for little kids early this year and they were all talking to him and he just doesn't know how to handle it. He usually rides in with someone. That day it was his dad, I was looking at him and you see even he was uneasy with how Zack acts. Yeah, and he hated interviews back then before he got help. Now I'm sure he still hates them, but I don't think he minds them that much. Still though, it's just funny to listen to him.
