  1. Today, I told him this. "Phils beat down Cards, 9-2. Oh, I almost forgot, my friend. the Cubs have overtook St. Louis at first in the NL Central. Have a nice day!
  2. lulz @ Detroit LF'er. Committed two errors in one play. Outstanding!
  3. Yeah, during the Royals game, when the Rangers won, instead of doing the traditional high fiving and all that, they basically did an imagionary high fiving while their gloves were covering their mouths.
  4. Whatever it is, I don't want anything to change. I just want the Cubs to continue to win.
  5. We'll go no worse than 17-9. I would consider 16-10 a success.
  6. From Fred in another thread: CUBS are 6-3 vs. Cincinnati CUBS are 6-4 vs. Houston CUBS are 4-2 vs. Pittsburgh CUBS are 3-1 vs. Florida CUBS are 1-2 vs. Philadelphia CUBS are 1-1 vs. Colorado CUBS are 2-2 vs. Los Angeles CUBS are 3-3 vs. San Diego
  7. Pena Jr. must have incriminating photos of either the Glass family or Dayton Moore.....
  8. At the same time, let's be fair. The Cubs could had easily choked away aganist thoe awful teams in Washington and the Reds. They could had easily took 2 out of 3 against Philly, had that one game went towards their way.
  9. Yeah, the "Lou is an idiot" thread may actually be quiet after this game Spoke too soon. :D
  10. Thank goodness for those insurance runs....
  11. Okay Fox, time to show us your manly Warning Track Power. Edit: Crud.
  12. I love positive results of situational hitting. 5-1
  13. I don't think he was safe, since he touched Koyie's foot. He has to be tagged with a hand or glove holding the ball. Touching his foot doesn't matter. Not that it matters, but I believe Coach was saying that Hill's foot blocked Encarnacion from ever touching home plate. That's what I mean. Koyie's foot was blocking homeplate from ever touching the home plate.
  14. I don't think he was safe, since he touched Koyie's foot. i'm pretty sure that's not how it works Well, if that's the case, then why didn't he slide around Koyie's foot/leg anyways? Milton made a nice slide earlier, and had Milton didn't do that, he probably would had been thrown out.
  15. I don't think he was safe, since he touched Koyie's foot.
  16. I don't know if he was actually "safe" since his foot caught Koyie's foot.
  17. Come on now, that Double Play is looking really much needed right now....
