  1. Judging by that K-zone, the 4th pitch aganist Pujols should had been a strike.
  2. There's that strike I'm looking for! Sweet! 2 pitch out!
  3. Come on Marshall! Set the tone with a strike on the first pitch!
  4. It could change directions in a hurry, me thinks.
  5. *mutes TV and turns on to Pat and Ron* Thank God for the mute button.
  6. Well, if Marshall does well, I'd just simply put "The Marshall" Now if Marshall gets bombed, well I guess "Marshmallowed" might work. *shrug*
  7. I can agree the ankle sprain, since I saw the game on ESPN. But the thing that strikes me is that Chipper was also (somewhat) holding on to his knee area. And I haven't heard anything about a knee, except that ESPN had "Left game with ankle and knee injury."
  8. Me. Want. Ask her where she got it. I didn't ask, but I'm sure that she got it from either one of the sporting stores in Overland Park Mall. Here's a link that I could find as for now. http://www.shop.com/op/~Chicago_Cubs_UNO-prod-12133335?buy=9
  9. Dusty's lineups are actually making a degree of sense these days. Did he get slapped over the head with Baseball Prospectus this offseason and learned via osmosis? I'm guessing he has been lurking on NSBB.
  10. Not a bad line up. I guess there could be some changes there, but I'm all right w/ that. Oh, and my g/f is awesome. Gave me a deck of UNO cards w/ Cubs players on the cards. It's really awesome. http://shop.com.edgesuite.net/ccimg.shop.com/220000/226800/226847/products/12133335.jpg
  11. And Shelton, for the Detroit Tigers, have a .727OBP, 1.750 SLG, and 2.477 OPS.
  12. Pittsburgh beats Cincy 5-3. Houston beating Wash 6-3 in the 7th. Arizona beating Brewres 4-0 in the 7th White Sox beats Royals 3-1.
  13. Hmm... I'm suprised Larry Rothschild isn't one of the major stars on that casting list. :-k
  14. Good point...anyone have the starting lineup yet? Considering that we're up 2-0 in the series, and Dusty doesn't like to show opposing teams up by keeping our starters in to go for the sweep, this just might be a forfeit lineup behind Marshall in his MLB debut against our hated rivals to close out the first home series of the year. G**, I hope not... Man, I hope that is not the case. If a manager puts out his forefit lineup on a National TV (ESPN), then he should be run out of town. There's no excuse to put out a forefit lineup, considering that the Cubs had day offs on Tuesday, Thursday and another one Tomorrow.
  15. So far right now: Pittsburgh beating Cincy 3-2 in the 6th. Arizona winning aganist Brewers 1-0 in the 4th. Washington and Houston are tied 1-1 in the 3rd.
  16. Ah hahaha! Nice thread Vance! By the way, pic one and two isn't showing up for me. :(
  17. Yeah, but Z did much better than his first outing IMHO.
  18. lmao. That's exactly what I said yesterday.
  19. Does anybody know if Dempster got credit for the save yesterday in the 5-1 win? Not sure.
