I've pretty much been doing that but, good God, we've waited a long time for baseball and this is not the greeting I wanted. I know. They could at least pretend to be mediocre or barely below average for a month or two.
Awful offense obviously. Feldman wasn't great but he wasn't awful either. He damn near got off the hook and could have only yielded two runs. Which probably would have just made it more frustrating to lose 2-1 instead of 4-1. I know nobody is really hitting well right now but when I see our lineup for each game I don't mind the top 5 or so hitters. My eyes just glaze over after that. 2-2, banking on Shark to get us to at least 3-3 heading into the opening homestand.
