  1. IU looks like they are playing the good ole Mike Davis CT3 offense tonight.
  2. Penn State is a bunch of chuckers. /sulley
  3. Not looking too good so far. :?
  4. If IU loses to Penn State tonight then I give up on the season. :-k
  5. I'm guessing the remainder of the top 10 includes NFL teams whose states he has driven through and/or flown over in a plane.
  6. Playing the Packers in the playoffs would just be like an extra bye week anyways tbh.
  7. 300 yards passing for Tebow today. The legend grows. :P
  8. I don't see Cutler sitting out. Lovie takes pride in beating Green Bay and isn't going to roll over. Did you forget 2006 that soon? With the number one seed wrapped up the Bears played Grossman all of like 3 series and then gave the keys to Griese I think. Yeah and right now the Bears don't have their seeding wrapped up. They still have the #2 seed and a bye week to play for. You honestly think Lovie won't play for that? :-k
  9. I want the bye week too. I just don't understand how all of a sudden next week's game is an auto-loss according to some people here. :P
  10. I think we can beat them, I would just rather not deal with all the media hoopla and fans trash-talking all week. Unless you are watching ESPN all the time I can't really understand caring about "media hoopla" but to each his own I suppose.
  11. You guys are really THAT scared of the Packers? :P
  12. BUT CUTLER SUCKS YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN HE WILL THROW 4 PICKS!
  13. Here are the things bothering me about IU right now: -Verdell has too much free reign. When he is on the floor he tends to dominate the ball too much, the offense stagnates and he ends up making a one-on-one move to the basket. He still turns the ball over too much and when he does get fouled going to the basket he can't make a free throw. He isn't very bright on defense either. -Creek hurts us more than helps us I think. He still either isn't 100% on that knee or doesn't trust it yet. His shot isn't there yet and his lateral quickness on defense is bad. Which is why against Colorado I was a bit confused by Crean assigning him to defend one of Colorado's better scorers? I'd say Rivers and Oladipo are by far our best one-on-one defenders and those guys should be getting the tough assignments not Creek. -Our overall defensive play is miserable. This team seems to have no concept of help defense and they rarely rotate properly. It is just killing them because they can't get critical defensive stops. For being a team that returns about everyone from last season, I really don't understand why they haven't learned some basic, fundamental team defense. -Crean's sub patterns just seem random and erratic. We'll take Jones off the floor and make a run, then Crean puts him back in and we fall behind again. Which I suppose goes hand in hand with reigning Verdell in. Last night Elston gave us some good offense in the first half and then doesn't play at all in the 2nd half? Very confusing. IU just isn't playing smart basketball and does not look like a well coached basketball team right now. A year ago at this time I kind of understood us looking that way but right now I don't understand it at all.
  14. QFT Colorado? Really? Crean's coaching in the two Vegas games was very...........um............bizarre. Was ESPN's box score right on teh starting lineup for the UNI game? It had Roth, Rivers, and Moore listed as starters. I have to assume that was a screw up right? I still am curious why Moore is getting any tick at all Nah, I think the starting lineup for UNI was Hulls, Rivers, Creek, Elston and Watford. Moore and Roth definitely did not start. Roth plays more minutes than Moore at this point. Daniel barely saw the floor in the last two games. And yeah I don't know why Moore plays although try telling that to the IU fans who love OMG GRITTY INDIANA KIDS.
  15. QFT Colorado? Really? Crean's coaching in the two Vegas games was very...........um............bizarre.
  16. IU is turrrrible. :?
  17. Damn I sure jinxed them. 47-27 now. :hello:
  18. IPFW hanging with Purdue so far. Only down 25-22 late in the 1st half. Go Dane Fife! :clapping:
  19. Unfortunately no. Part of me wants to believe he played tonight to try and avoid his last pass being a pick for the 4th year in a row.
  20. Really they should. I mean the dude is a warrior. :P
  21. Get ready for a stready steam of "OMG BRETT PLAYS FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME" tonight from the MNF booth.
  22. Yeah because what happened today means the Bears totally suck. Worst 9-4 team ever amirite? You do realize this team has a very good chance to clinch the division over the next 2 weeks? What an awful team, clearly not any good at all.
  23. Maybe I'm just weird but I got over 2003 within a week or so of Game 7. I just felt like that team went on a magical run and overachieved. I enjoyed the ride, hated the end, but end of the day I enjoyed the ride enough to take positive memories away from it rather than dwelling on the choke job at the end.
