    Really wish it was the end of Grabow instead. I still think Caridad has potential. Wow, that slide suuuuuuuuuuuucked. Way to use your face. Agreed on Grabow, but Caridad hasnt shown the ability to throw strikes this year at all, until he does he needs to be in AAA in my opinion

    the problem is that with the contracts we'd like to move, it would take a miracle to get anyone to jump without us taking on some money. save for lilly, who could be rented for the last few months. even if they got crazy hot, who would take soriano, rameriz, or even lee(most likely but not as a .265 20 hr 1b) hopefully the yankess can come down with a few key injuries that we can fill- and they certainly woudln't take soriano back. it would be really nice if z came back and showed the form of the 15-16 game winner that he is/was...then maybe someone could take that deal. we paid him 19 mil to be a stud and he had never turned into that. good pitcher-yea, 20 game winner, consistant? feel like you will win every time he takes the hill...no. at his best, he was nearly unbeatable when he was on, but he was only on like that a handful of times a year. Name me 5 guys in the major leagues who are consistently 20 game winners

    Why did he need a fire lit under his tail? He hadnt allowed more than 3 runs in a start outside of his 1st one, so why was the fire needed?

    I think the main reason why Jay is pitching in the bullpen in AAA is because of Shark. The Cubs brought Shark up to the bullpen after only being a starter in the minors, and has pretty much sucked, and has said its hard getting used to being a reliever when you have always been a starter. So the Cubs hear this, and think "hey we plan on calling Jay up to the major league bullpen soon, so we better get him some outings in AAA out of the pen, so its easier for him". Not saying its right or wrong, but thats exactly what I think the Cubs are thinking regarding Jackson

    Its his fault when his piss poor bullpen management hurts the Cubs, or when he sac bunts with a guy hitting .350 to get to 2 guys hitting under .250. Or how about moving one of the teams top 3 starters to the bullpen, then dick with him there. But then again Im no coach so my post is completely irrelevant, and I have no right to criticize the "coach".

    Yea thats what its leading up too, but its hilarious watching Lou dance around the questions. Now its time to speculate on the starter heading to the pen once Z is stretched out. Hmmm Silva would make the most sense so its not him. Im going with Demp because hes "done it before".hahahaha this season is setting up perfectly for a complete comedy show.

Actually I was talking about them boo'ing Betancourt for throwing to 1st base to keep Castro close Fans always boo when an opposing pitcher throws to first .... and I have no idea why. Never understood it either, it really is ignorant
