I fell into a YouTube rabbit hole watching old Sosa clips the other day after David's post and saw one, don't remember when, that barely snuck into the basket on a line. His second 60th, which was the only major baseball moment I've seen in person, was in the basket.
Not saying it wouldn't be cool if they were better paid, but the real prospects had bonuses and the rest can go screw, as far as MLB is concerned, because they are only there to fill rosters.
If that's what it comes down to, I guess (or maybe look at the whole not signing thing). But I hold out hope that the Cubs like one of the hitters more than the media does, and that they're right.
