    i'm sure that one guy will post the BABIP dragon soon, then people will start to argue about contact rate and other metrics after solers next at bat I don't have it in me. Either Lester will recover like the metrics say he should, or he won't. I guess we'll find out.

    maybe if we stop talking about the dongs they will come We've had a pretty decent number of dongs already. It's not like we've been held dongless. the hype for the first KB dong is off the charts -- i dont think it will die till he finally does it, then i think he'll go on a rampage. The .500+ OBP is keeping me happy in the meantime.

    yeah. i went back and made sure. he said he "reportedly" has a torn acl, which would put him out for the playoffs. That's only a couple more hours.

    Back when the Red Wings dominated us, I'd be amazed by their skill and wonder what it's like to have a PP like that. Now we have that much skill but our PP is balls.

    I think so, but I'm a massive La Stella hater. Curious, but why? Obviously not a long term starter type, but seems like a nice bench option to me. He's a career negative WAR player and a career minor leaguer. He's like LaHair but middle-infieldy. I don't hate him as a 6th infielder, but anything more than that is too much.

    I'm thinking somewhere between .650 and .700. Just fine with me if his defense is good.

    He's almost exactly two years younger. Different paths to the minors, but that's still a big gap at this age.
