Adam Dunn has a career 901 OPS. He's 26 years old. Name me some other hitters under 27 that have a 900+ career OPS. Pujols, Cabrera, and who else? Last season his OPS was 927. Of qualified OF, only 9 had higher OPS than Dunn last year. Tha list includes: Manny, Jason Bay, Vlad, Cabrera, Griffey, Berkman, Jones, Edmonds, and Giles. Dunn had a 387 OBP last year. Once again, only 9 OF with enough AB's to qualify had higher. That list includes Giles, Berkman,Abreu, Bay, Vlad, Burrell, Manny, Cabrera, and Edmonds. Of those two lists, many of those guys aren't available. If any were, I'd happily take them. Dunn would make a huge difference in this line-up. It would turn it's main weakness into a strength.
