    was one of thsoe games a saturday night game that wood also homered in? If so, that is my all time favorite cubs game that I was in attendance. #66 was pretty special too. and finally, the grand slam at coors in 2003. or at least I think it was 2003. That's the game.

    I don't think the discrepancy is that large, but it's closer to the truth than not.

    With Zambrano's resurgence, the Cubs should be able to open a bidding war for him. The Mets would get in. I suspect the Angels would too. I don't know if the Braves would, but they have some pieces I wouldn't mind having.

    He's a smart guy then. I hope he gets some starts in at Iowa and makes a strong finish in Chicago this year.

    Bingo. Call the Braves. Offer Zambrano for Salty and Harrison and hope they'll do Salty + Jo Jo Reyes. Try to throw in Jones as well. Offer them a reliever, and maybe we can get Brandon Jones as well.

    Depends on if you believe the cubs would have offered arbi to Barrett. If you believe they would have (as I do), then it was REALLY bad as they would be giving up two high draft picks. If you believe that they wouldnt have offered him arbi then it was just a mildly bad trade. Bowen is hitting well this year but thats inflated by a ridiculously high (and unsustainable) BABIP. He has a decent ISoD, but strikes out 30% of the time so he'll always have a low average to give him a meh OBP. His defense was touted scouting wise as a prospect, but is debatable now. Don't pay attention to his SB% as the SD pitchers don't hold runners. Basically hes a pretty decent backup catcher. Hes probably not better than Soto. Burke is was a supplemental pick last year, so he was highly thought of, but as a position player (corner OF) out of highschool, hes ridiculously raw. Hes athletic, but has sucked horribly in his pro career. Hes got upside, but hes really really far away and has a good chance of flaming out. In my opinion, this trade hurts the team now and hurts the team in the future. nilo says it better that I could. I would have said we traded Barrett for a back-up catcher and a bag of crap.

    It happened in Arizona. I think his license is fine in Arizona right? Can you have separate DL in two different states?
