    Growing up in Louisiana before ESPN carried baseball three or so times a week and before the advent of regional sports networks, there were three outlets for baseball. WGN (Cubs), TBS (Braves), and the Saturday game of the week. As my love for baseball grew, I started spending afternoons sitting with my grandfather watching the Cubs. Before long, I was a Cub fan. The 1984 team was the first one to really capture me. After that, I was hooked.
