    which pretty much equates to "I'm just pulling this out of my ass" which probably also means he's wrong. I mean I could make a generalization too and say that from my experience, most white sox fans, and no I don't have any data, and drugged out on meth and have criminal records.

    Where would we play him when Soriano comes back? Other than this I agree. His production would be amazing to our lineup. Well, the same question would exist if we went out and signed Lofton. In reality, LF is fine as long as Soriano isn't out for longer than a month. And if there was going to be a lenghty absence without Soriano, I'd say Bonds makes the most sense as an outside the organization solution. And Bonds needs days off anyway. Can Lofton not play Centerfield anymore? His arm is Pierre-esque now and his range is compromised as well.

    I know it's revisionist, but I honestly believe, the Brewers know Prince's future is NOT in Milwaukee. They are looking at getting alot of bang for the buck in terms of $$$ for his projected numbers, and in his WALK YR, they'll look to move him, for a boatload and continue on there way. I think this is the main reason why they drafted La Porta. In three yrs, La Porta should be ready to play for Milwaukee (rather it's at first, in LF with Braun moving to 1b), after they move Fielder, for major young talent. I know some will argue that they draft La Porta for trade value, but I believe they drafted him, knowing he'll be the replacement for Fielder in a few yrs. Isaw LaPorta play Saturday night, and he crushed one ball for a HR, another one bounced the fence for a double, and then one ball he flew out to deep CF. In his other AB, he was hit by a pitch.

    My LF solution is Barry Lamar Bonds. Choice between Barry Bonds and Kenny Lofton? Bonds wins in a landslide.

    But Jerry Hairston Jr hasn't been a good baseball player since 2004 which is probably when he got off the juice.

    Pie will get back in the line-up. It may take some time, but to declare a player's career over at age 23 is a bit premature.
