  1. As of right now, he's still DC in Tampa- but there's been the Marinelli rumors of him joining Lovie there. He wanted to go last year, and Cowboys denied him permission to leave, so Lovie hired Frazier. Yeah but he hasn't been fired. He seems respected enough that the Bucs wouldn't go behind his back and hire someone else. That has been my feeling as well. There's the rumor being floated by PFT that Marinelli is gone. Not sure who the source is. I have heard the rumor numerous times and paid little mind to it because of the fact that Tampa doesn't have an opening at DC. Maybe Frazier is let go tomorrow and Marinelli signs with Tampa. I like Marinelli and I hope Jerry is able to keep the whole staff together, but if Marinelli leaves for Tampa, then my guess is Frazier is looking for work. I like him a lot and think he could also help here. So, if we trade Marinelli for Frazier, I consider that a wash, even if my preference is for Dallas to keep this staff together another 3-4 years. The one I think we are most likely to lose is Callahan. He had to take a demotion to bring in Linehan and I could see him looking for a new opportunity as OC somewhere.

  3. As a Cowboys fan, I've heard that rumor for awhile. The only question I have, is what becomes of Leslie Frazier. I wouldn't think a guy like him would take a demotion, so he must be leaving. He would make someone a good DC, maybe Marinelli's replacement in Dallas?
  4. Watching Rich Eisen talk about it was very moving. He was fighting through the tears. This must be a terribly hard part of being in the media and having to discuss the death of a friend on air.
  5. 49 years old is too young. Once again a reminder how much cancer sucks.
  6. SportsCenter ‏@SportsCenter 1m1 minute ago We are heartbroken to report that Stuart Scott has died after a long fight with cancer. He was 49.
  7. Rumors of Marrone to Jets already started.

  9. If I'm an AP voter, I might vote TCU #1. Definitely would vote them #2.
  10. http://www.csnchicago.com/bears/bears-make-sweeping-changes-halas-hall-fire-gm-phil-emery As a Cowboys fan, I say thanks. I have appreciated Marinelli on the Cowboys.
  11. Can't say I'm sad that Suh won't be playing on Sunday.
  12. I have to say, I'm happy to not have to face Suh on Sunday.
  13. McClay would be nice. Stay away from McClay!
  14. Rex will have options as HC, so no not attractive enough. Rex will get at least one more chance as HC before he has to take a step down. The only team I can see offering Rex the top job is Oakland. Maybe Atlanta? And he would take both of those over being Chicago's DC. He's indicated he would sit out if not offered a HC. If you want Rex, you will have to make him top dog.

  17. Adam Caplan ‏@caplannfl 2m2 minutes ago Former #49ers HC Mike Singletary would be interested in interviewing for the now vacant #Bears head coaching job, a league source said.
  18. What are your feelings on Holmgren?
  19. The Bears would be wise to hold on to Cutler. First, his salary cap implications make it wise to work it out. Secondly, while he may have his warts, getting a better QB could prove to be a challenge.
  20. Looks like Rex could have his pick of Oakland or Atlanta. Both are showing interest in him. He will get one more shot as a head coach before he has to settle for being a coordinator.
  21. Rex has said he's not going to be a defensive coordinator in 2015. Rumors are that Rex could land in Atlanta or Oakland.
  22. Obviously, I would like to see Suh suspended for next week's game- so the rest of you, given his history, was that intentional? Was it flagrant?
  23. How y'all feeling about Shanahan?
